how to commute from pateros to manila ocean park?

Posted by maisie on 11/3/2009 hi maisie, to get to manila ocean park, you can ride a jeep to ayala, and then ride a jeep to libertad. Walk around 3 blocks to taft avenue. From there, you can ride a jeep to blumentritt, quiapo, cubao, or malanday via mabini, and ask the driver to drop you off at mabini cor. kalaw. landmark is the rizal park. turn left and walk about 7 blocks along kalaw, past m. h. del pilar and roxas blvd., until you get to parade ave. turn right at parade ave. and walk a few meters towards quirino grandstand. manila ocean park is right behind quirino grandstand. here's the google map of the area: link. hope this helps!

Posted by Bel on 11/3/2009 Hi Bel, we believe the fastest way would be to take the LRT1 to EDSA, walk to MRT Taft Ave., and then take the MRT to Magallanes. Pasong Tamo Ext. is 1 block away from the station to your left. If your destination lies further south along Pasong Tamo Ext., you can ride a jeep to FTI and ask the driver to drop you off at your destination. Hope this helps!

Im going to Lipa from cubao. Would buses be available along EDSA, or is it advisable to go direclty at the terminals? And where are they? :D thanks

Posted by JP on 11/5/2009 Hi JP, we think that it is advisable to get on a bus at the terminals. ALPS has trips to Lipa from their terminal in Cubao. Their terminal is located in between Ramon Magsaysay HS and Dagupan Bus Terminal. Here's a google map of the area: link. Hope this helps! :)

hi, may i ask what's the best and fastest route (taxi) from Shopwise makati (near Zapote) to UP diliman? around 5pm? i need to be in UP Diliman 6pm..

Posted by joey nyl villamejor on 11/8/2009 Hi joey nyl villamejor, at around 5pm onwards it's rush hour so we think that your best bet would be to go through C5 instead of EDSA. From Shopwise, go through Chino Roces and make a right at J.P. Rizal. When you get to C5 make a left. (we're not sure if there is an open intersection here to make a left. If not, make a right and take the next u-turn). Traverse C5, passing by Tiendesitas, Libis, and Eastwood City. When you encounter a fork in the road, make a left. This will lead you to Katipunan. From there, make a right passing by the overpass. Traverse Katipunan passing by ADMU until you get to UP-D. Route Map. Hope this helps and hope you get there on time!

Posted by Thyne on 11/9/2009 Hi Thyne, from Meycauyan Bulacan to Tektite, ride a jeep to Monumento. From Monumento, ride a jeep/FX/bus to SM North EDSA. Walk towards the MRT Station and ride the MRT to Shaw Station. Go down, cross Shaw Boulevard to EDSA Central. Ride a jeep to Tektite Towers. Hope this helps!

Posted by Gen on 11/9/2009 Hi Gen, to get to Dusit Thani Manila, you can take the LRT1 to EDSA, and walk through the connecting footbridge to MRT Taft Ave. station. From there, you can take the MRT to Ayala station, and walk through the connecting footbridge to SM Makati Annex.Exit SM Makati Annex, turn left, and walk less than a block until you get to Dusit.
